This barn is located in-between Blewett Pass and Cle Elum up the
Teanaway valley toward Stuart Mountain in the North Cascades. I had
driven up that road many years ago to hike up Mt. Stuart and remember
it being a gorgeous view and very rustic. All things change with time
but the Teanaway valley is beautiful to see even now!
My aunt took several pictures of this barn and sent them to me via
e-mail. I got to choose which picture I wanted to paint. It was
a cloudy day with low light but I liked the tree in the foreground. Do
you think that white pole is holding up the front of the barn?!! |
